Tata Curvv EV Engine and Transmission

The Curvv EV is powered by a 45kWH battery pack that is linked to a permanent magnet synchronous motor. This setup belts out a peak power and torque of 148bhp and 215 Nm, respectively. A few variants are powered by a 55kWh battery pack that delivers a maximum of 165bhp and similar torque. These deliveries are transferred to the wheels through an automatic transmission system.

Tata Curvv EV Riding Range

This Tata EV delivers a riding range of 502 km on a single charge. The full battery charge can be attained in 6-9 hours through a 7.2 kW AC home wall box charger. The 10%-80% charge can be attained in 40 minutes through a DC Fast Charger.

The Curvv EV with a bigger battery achieves an acceleration of 0-100 km/h within 8.6 seconds. The variants with smaller battery do the same sprint in 9 seconds.

This Tata car is equipped with an independent McPherson front strut with coil spring. The rear suspension is a twist beam with dual path strut that offers smooth and comfortable driving experience. The different variants of the EV ride either on 17-inch or 18-inch alloy wheels. The wheels wear the 215mm wide tyres with different aspect ratios. Additionally, the model integrates six airbags, a hill-hold assist, a hill descent control, and an electronic stability control. It also gets 3-D surround view camera, driver doze off alert, and forward collision warning, among others.
