Tata Curvv Engine and Transmission

The car comes with two engine options a 1.2-litre petrol and diesel engine and 1.5-litre diesel engine options. The engine gets mated to a six-speed manual or seven-speed automatic transmission system. The different variants churn out a maximum power of between 116bhp and 123bhp. The peak torque figures ranges between 170 Nm and 260 Nm, based on the different engine variants.

This Tata SUV has an independent front suspension with lower wishbone and McPherson strut with coil spring. The rear suspension is semi-independent including an open profile twist beam with stabiliser bar, coil spring and shock absorber. The car rides on 16-inch, 17-inch, and 18-inch alloy wheels based on the variant. The width of tyres stands at 215mm for all the variants. The braking setup incorporate front disc and rear drum brakes for a few variants. The others are equipped with both disc brakes.

It has multi drive mode – Eco, City, and Sports – and smart e-shifter for automatic transmission variants. Furthermore, the 12.3-inch touch screen infotainment system, multiple voice assistant, and a JBL sound system with nine speakers are included. The JBL audio modes provide a cinematic experience. The driver information and navigation display are provided on a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster.

On the safety front, the Curvv car gets six airbags, rain sensing wipers, and electronic parking brake. It also has Level-2 ADAS including an adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, lane change alert, and autonomous emergency braking.
