Skoda Kodiaq SUV Marks 7th Anniversary in India with Limited Period Offer
Skoda Auto is expected to introduce the new-gen Kodiaq SUV in India either by the end of 2024 or early 2025. It will continue to lock horns with the Jeep Meridian, the MG Gloster, and the Toyota Fortuner.
Skoda Auto India is celebrating the seventh anniversary of its Kodiaq 4X4 SUV in India with a limited-time offer dubbed the '7% advantage', valid from July 18 to 24, 2024. The customer advantage, which is offered through the official website, comprises unique financial offers, in addition to service and warranty packages. It also includes a complimentary two-year Standard Maintenance Package. The Kodiaq comes with a four-year warranty as standard. However, in honour of its seventh anniversary, the SUV gets a five-year warranty. The company is also commemorating its 24th anniversary in India by offering attractive value deals on a variety of products on the 24th of every month. According to Skoda 'the 7% advantage announced from the 18th to 24th of July, also pays homage to the 24th-anniversary activities.'

Skoda Kodiaq: Powertrain
A 2-litre turbo-petrol engine with 187bhp and 320Nm powers the Kodiaq. It features a 7-speed DCT (dual-clutch automatic) transmission that transfers power to all four wheels.

Features-wise, the SUV is equipped with a 12-speaker sound system, 10-colour ambient lighting, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, ventilated and heated front seats with massage function, cruise control, 3-zone climate control, and a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display (8-inch in the Style model). It has electronic stability control (ESC), a 360-degree camera, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), nine airbags (as standard), a hill hold, and hill descent control for safety.

Skoda Kodiaq: Price and Rivals
The SUV is priced at Rs 39.99 lakh in India (ex-showroom). It competes with a range of models like the Jeep Meridian, the MG Gloster, and the Toyota Fortuner. Notably, the new Kodiaq made its debut in October 2023 for the global market. Although the Czech automaker hasn't revealed anything, the updated SUV is expected to go on sale here either by the end of 2024 or early 2025. According to several previous spy images, the SUV will have new alloy wheels, a reworked rear bumper, a white colour scheme, and a honeycomb-patterned front bumper with side-mounted vertical air dams.
