Skoda Kodiaq Latest Updates

1. 12 July 2024: Skoda Kodiaq is awarded a five-star crash test safety rating from the Euro NCAP.
2. 09 July 2024: Skoda starts a limited-period offer on the Kodiaq SUV on its seventh anniversary in India.
3. 20 June 2024: The new Kodiaq is staled to come with revised bumpers and C-shaped taillights as seen while it was being tested in India.  
4. 27 May 2024: Skoda is slated to launch the new Kodiaq by the end of 2024.
5. 23 March 2024: Skoda has rejigged its Kodiaq variants and its top-spec is expected to cost 2 Lakhs less than the earlier one.

Skoda Kodiaq Exterior Details

At first glance, the new Skoda Kodiaq looks rather similar to its outgoing variant. But look closer and you'll notice the differences. The Skoda Kodiaq carries forward its imposing looks and road presence. New to the car are updated bumpers that on the front end get changes to the air dam design as well. The upper front grille has also received updates, and the new headlights feature a sleeker and thinner design. The Kodiaq also gets new LED DRLs with these updated headlights, and minor design changes to the fog lights can be seen too. The rear end features updated headlights with sequential effects for a more premium feel. The alloys on the side get the same spoked design albeit now in a dual-tone finish. The Skoda Kodiaq dimensions come in at 4699mm in length, 1882mm in width, and 1685mm in height. The Kodiaq features a wheelbase of 2791mm, promising a spacious interior, and plenty of ground clearance at 191mm.

Skoda Kodiaq Interior Details

The Skoda Kodiaq interior features a familiar upgrade. The dual-tone beige and black dashboard in the Kodiaq makes a comeback and the design is such that it feels rather spacious. The Kodiaq gets premium beige upholstery, a new two-spoke, leather-wrapped steering wheel similar to that of the Octavia. The Kodiaq also features a digital instrument cluster now and an 8.0-inch infotainment touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, navigation, and more.

Skoda Kodiaq Engine & Transmission

The Skoda Kodiaq's engine specifications are all new. Replacing the older variant's diesel unit is a 2.0-litre TSI petrol unit putting down 190PS of power and 320Nm of peak torque. The powerhouse comes mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch DSG transmission in an AWD configuration.  

Skoda Kodiaq Features

Much like its predeccesor, the new Skoda Kodiaq comes feature-loaded. To start things off, the 8.0-inch infotainment touchscreen in the Kodiaq now gets wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. The car also gets a wireless phone charger in the centre console. The electronically adjustable front seats get a memory function as well as ventilation and heating. There is a new 12-speaker CANTON stereo system present in the Kodiaq now. The entry-level premium SUV doesn't lag behind in safety features either. The Skoda Kodiaq gets a comprehensive safety suite featuring nine airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC and cornering head lights. The Kodiaq also features a 360-degree parking camera connected to the infotainment screen, hill hold and descent features, TPMS and a differential lock with its AWD system.

Skoda Kodiaq Price & Variants 

The Audi Q7 is priced in India starting at ₹82.49 lakhs (Ex-Showroom) for the Premium Plus variant. The Audi Q7 gets two variants in India, and the price in India goes up to ₹89.90 lakhs (Ex-Showroom) for the Audi Q7 Technology variant.
