Nissan X-Trail Engine and Transmission

The X-trail comes with a 1.5-litre ALiS 12V Mild Hybrid engine. This is the first Nissan that gets a variable compression engine. It develops a peak power of 161bhp at 4800 rpm and an utmost torque of 300 Nm at 2800 rpm. The engine gets mated to an automatic CVT transmission system that transfers the power to the wheels.

Nissan focuses on comfort and technology within the X-Trail's cabin. It has an 8-inch infotainment display and a 12.2-inch full TFT digital Instrument cluster. It also boasts a dual-zone automatic air conditioner with a tri-mode option and adjustable front seats, to provide optimum comfort.  In addition, it gets ambient lighting, a wireless charger, cruise control, and a panoramic sunroof, among others.

On the safety front, this car gets seven airbags and hill start assist with an auto-hold function. It also has a dynamic control system, a traction control system, a brake assist, and a brake-limited slip differential. Additionally, the X-trail car gets an ABS with EBD, parking sensors, emergency stop signal, and tyre pressure monitoring system.
