MG Gloster SUV Prices Increased by up to Rs 87,000 in India
Following the latest price hike, the MG Gloster now falls within an ex-showroom price bracket of Rs 39.56 lakh to Rs 44.74 lakh.
MG Motor India has increased the prices of its Gloster SUV by up to Rs 87,000, depending on the variant. The Gloster, known for its spacious interiors and advanced safety features, continues to compete with models like the Toyota Fortuner, Jeep Meridian, and Skoda Kodiaq. Despite the price hike, the SUV retains its appeal with features such as multiple driving modes, ADAS technology, and powerful diesel engine options available in both 4x2 and 4x4 configurations. The price revision is part of regular adjustments influenced by market conditions and rising input costs. With this change, MG aims to maintain the Gloster's position in the competitive full-size SUV market.
MG Gloster SUV: Price Hike
Following the latest price hike, the Gloster now falls within an ex-showroom price bracket of Rs 39.56 lakh to Rs 44.74 lakh. The following are the variant-wise updated prices of the SUV.

As seen in the table above, the MG Gloster Sharp 7S 2.0 Turbo 2WD has become costlier by Rs 76,200. Variants such as the Savvy 7S and 6S 2.0 Turbo 2WD, Blackstorm 6S and 7S 2.0 Turbo 2WD, Desertstorm 6S and 7S 2.0 Turbo 2WD, and Snowstorm 6S 2.0 Turbo 2WD have seen a Rs 80,000 price increase. For the remaining models in the Gloster lineup, a uniform hike of Rs 87,000 has been implemented.
MG Gloster SUV: Engine Specs
The MG Gloster is equipped with two diesel engine options. The first is a 2.0-litre single-turbo diesel engine that generates 159bhp and 373.5Nm of torque. The second option is a 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel unit, which delivers a more powerful output of 212bhp and 478.5Nm of torque.

Both engine options are exclusively mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The twin-turbo diesel variant further includes a 4WD system, featuring seven terrain-specific driving modes: Auto, Mud, Eco, Rock, Snow, Sand, and Sport.
MG Gloster SUV: Feature Suite
The MG's flagship SUV comes loaded with a range of features such as a 12.3-inch infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, an electronic gearshift with auto park, an 8-inch fully digital driver's display, wireless phone charging, ventilated front seats, a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, and 12-way power-adjustable driver seats. Moreover, premium soft-touch materials adorn the dashboard and door panels.

Meanwhile, elements like hill hold control, traction control, a 360-degree camera, hill descent control, electronic stability control (ESC), six airbags, and an ADAS suite enhance the safety quotient.
