MG Comet EV Engine and Other Specifications

This car has been equipped with a 17.3 kWh lithium-ion battery linked with a permanent synchronous motor that delivers peak power and torque of 41.42bhp and 110 Nm, respectively, to the drive train. The power transmission is done through an automatic transmission system which has no gears applicability.

The battery of this MG electric car is capable of delivering a total range of 230 km, as claimed by the manufacturer, on a full battery charge. This battery can be charged fully in nearly 5-7 hours with the help of a 3.3 kWh dedicated charger.

Moving further onto specifications, this EV has been provided with McPherson Strut in the front, a multi-link coil rear suspension, 12-inch alloy wheels with the tyres of ‘145/70R12’ profile, and front disc and rear drum brakes.

Dimensionally, it has an overall length of 2974mm, a mirror-excluded width of 1505mm, and a height of 1640mm, along with a wheelbase of 2010mm. These dimensions make this vehicle compatible to have a turning radius of 4.2 metres.

Furthermore, the dual-tone space grey MG Comet EV interior boasts a one-touch slide and recline co-driver seat for second-row entry, a leather-wrapped steering wheel with mounted controls, PVC layering on the door trims, chrome inside door handles, and fabric upholstery with 50:50 split rear seats. Moreover, it gets plenty of amenities like remote central locking, front power windows, a manual air conditioner, a 12V power outlet in the front, and three USB port with fast charging features.

MG Comet EV Safety Features

On the Safety front, this car has been loaded with a range of essential and contemporary features. A few of them are dual front airbags, three-point seat belts, seat belt reminders, a manual parking brake, and an antilock braking system with an electronic brake-force distribution system to ensure the stability of the vehicle during braking. In addition, this MG car comes decked with a reverse parking camera, rear parking sensors, manual day/night inner rear-view mirror, speed-sensing auto door lock, impact-sensing auto door unlock, and ISOFIX child seat anchors in the rear.

MG Comet EV Price and Variants

The manufacturer has offered this car for sale in a single ‘Base’ variant along with five striking colour options which are Apple Green and Starry Black, Candy White and Starry Black, Aurora Silver, Candy White, and Starry Black.
