As mentioned above, this car comes with two engine trims, a 2999cc M256 petrol engine and a 2925cc OM 656 diesel engine, each with a six-cylinder inline setup. The diesel engine variant produces a maximum of 326bhp at 3600 rpm and 700 Nm at 1200 rpm whereas the petrol engine generates a maximum of 362bhp at 5500 rpm and 700 Nm at 1600 rpm. With these power figures, the Mercedes S-class archives a sprint of 0-100 km/h within 6.4 seconds in the diesel variant and within 5.1 seconds in the petrol variant, as stated by the manufacturer. The claimed top speed of the vehicle is 250 Km/h.

The other specifications of this car include an AIRMATIC suspension setup which, being air suspension, provides excellent ride comfort on various surfaces during sporty driving. Along with this, it has an all-wheel-drivetrain and tilt and telescopic steering column with Rack & Pinion gear, to offer an easy as well as power-packed driving experience.
