This SUV comes in two engine options – a 1993cc OM654 Turbocharged I4 petrol engine and a 2989cc engine. The latter is a Turbocharged I6 engine and comes with both petrol and diesel variants. The configuration remains the same in both – four-valve per cylinder on dual overhead camshaft. The smaller one develops a peak power and torque of nearly 265bhp and 550 Nm, respectively. On the other hand, the bigger engine on petrol churns out similar peak torque and 375bhp of peak power. On diesel, it puts out a maximum of 362bhp and 750 Nm of power and torque, respectively.

The Other Mercedes GLE specifications include a nine-speed automatic transmission system, enabling low engine speed that reduces fuel consumption. The transmission is provided with comfort and eco-drive programs that can be selected through the Dynamic Select option. The suspension setup of the vehicle is an AIRMATIC package that includes an adaptive damping system and air suspensions. It automatically adjusts based on the driving conditions, load, and speed, providing first-class comfort and driving stability.

The braking system of this Mercedes-Benz SUV is top-notch. It includes perforated large brake discs on the front axle that grip powerfully, offering stable braking in all driving situations. Furthermore, it features temperature-controlled cup holders, a wireless charging system, and a high centre console with two grab handles.

The dashboard trim elements include open-pore brown walnut wood trim, exuding luxurious aesthetics and progressive SUV character. Besides, electrical sun blinds in rear doors, luxury rear head restraints, and electrically adjustable rear seats offer enhanced comfort. Moreover, it includes an air-balance package and an energizing air control to provide better air quality inside the car.

On the safety front, this Mercedes car incorporates side airbags for the front and rear seat occupants. It also gets a blind spot assist, a parking package with a 360-degree camera, and an adaptive high-beam assist feature. Additionally, this machine has a tyre pressure monitoring system, an active brake assist, and an underbody guard, among other safety measures.
