In comparison to the Endeavour and Fortuner, the Alturas offers so much more – a 360-degree camera, smart tailgate, ventilated seats and 9 airbags. Amazing value for money product.

Features Aplenty
Design could be more Adventurous
When you have designs like the Toyota Fortuner and the Ford Endeavour as benchmarks, it’s hard to call the Alturas a good-looking design. While there is nothing wrong with it, it just doesn’t appeal to the heart and doesn’t look as a full-sized SUV should be.
Good 5-seater
I would much rather fold the third row flat and utilise the boot space – come to terms with that and the Mahindra Alturas can be a decent enough SUV in the premium segment.
Value for Money
Just like the old-generation SsangYong Rexton, the Alturas G4 is great value for money. A lot of the features it comes with are only in the Skoda Kodiaq L&K – a car that costs nearly Rs 5 lakh more. Ventilated seats are a boon, but could have been a bit more powerful.
Refined
For something that wears a Mahindra badge, the Alturas G4 is surprisingly refined. At idle the motor is quiet and vibe-free. Even in motion and at high speeds, noise inside the cabin is well controlled.
Super Luxurious
No other car in its class offers so much luxury. The leather on the dashboard, ventilated seats, and the quality of parts all around ensures it feels more premium than competition.
