Lamborghini Huracan Marks New Sales Milestone with 150 Units Delivered in India
Lamborghini has attained a new sales milestone by dispatching the 150th unit of the Huracan in the country. Shortly after its global debut, the Huracan marked its entry into our market in 2014.
The Lamborghini Huracan supercar has touched a new sales milestone in India. In our market, the Italian automaker sold the 150th unit of the Huracan. According to industry reports, this supercar is the second most popular model after the Lamborghini Urus S SUV. On the sales front, several market reports hint that these two models contribute massively to the company's sales in both national and international arenas. For starters, the Huracan market its debut in the nation in 2014. The Huracan coupe appeared first, then the Spyder. After this, the Huracan Performante and the Huracan Performance Spyder, both rear-wheel drive vehicles, debuted in 2016 and 2018, respectively. And in 2019, the redesigned Huracan EVO Coupe and the Spyder models marked their entries to the country. A road-legal homologated version of the racer, the Huracan Super Trofeo Omologata (STO), was unveiled two years later in our market after the updated Huracan EVO Coupe and the Spyder versions. In 2022, the Sterrato and the Tecnica entered India, with the latter featuring increased ground clearance and all-wheel drive.

Lamborghini Huracan Sales Milestone
The Huracan's popularity in the nation among drivers looking for a race car's potent technology in regular driving on the roads has contributed to the new sales milestone. According to the automaker, the model's different versions, which include 12 road and three racing models, reinforce its nine years of commercial success.
Latest Models In Huracan Lineup: Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato,Tecnica
The Huracan Sterrato supercar launched at Rs Rs 4.61 crore (ex-showroom) in India. On the other hand, the Huracan Tecnica arrived in our nation with a price tag of Rs 4.04 crore (ex-showroom). Mechanically speaking, the Sterrato has a 5.2-litre, naturally aspirated V10 engine, also found with the standard Huracan version. However, at 602bhp and 560Nm, the Sterrato generates around 30bhp and 40Nm less value than the base Huracan model. Meanwhile, the Tecnica also uses the same 5.2-litre naturally aspirated V10 engine to produce 631bhp and 565Nm.
For transmission, the Sterrato supercar has a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, which distributes power to all four wheels via an electronically controlled all-wheel-drive system and a mechanical rear self-locking differential. The Sterrato, according to the firm, can go from a standstill to 100km/h in 3.4 seconds and has a top speed of 260km/h. While its top speed is 60km/h less than the Huracan AWD, it takes 0.5 seconds longer to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h. Meanwhile, the Huracan Tecnica gets a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, which sends all the power to the rear wheels. It claims to reach 100km/h in 3.2 seconds and attain a speed of 200km/h in 9.2 seconds. It also has a claimed top speed of 325km/h.
