Kia EV6 Facelift Spotted Testing in Europe; Shows Reworked Headlights and More Features
The new spy shots of the Kia EV6 Facelift have emerged online, giving a little information regarding the potential cosmetic changes. Let's take a closer look at the spy pictures of the SUV that is likely to debut in India by next year.
The Kia EV6 marked the global debut of the carmaker in the electric vehicle arena, and now, a significant refresh is in the pipeline for this model. A prototype of the updated version has recently been captured undergoing extensive testing on European roads. Notably, the test mule is meticulously concealed, shrouding its front, sides, and rear – a customary practice when automakers are preparing substantial design modifications.
While the specific changes remain obscured under wraps, it is anticipated that the concealed areas of the facelifted EV6 will bear notable alterations, potentially encompassing a revamped bumper, tailgate revisions, and more. Despite the thorough camouflage, a few modifications are apparent, including revised headlamps, seemingly positioned lower on the front, and the introduction of a fresh wheel design. Let's look at modifications that the new EV6 facelift is expected to feature.
Kia EV6 Facelift: More Highlights
The EV6 Facelift is likely to feature a new LED mark on its taillights, although this remains to be verified. Furthermore, bolder front and rear bumpers are also expected. Inside, the model is expected to come with subtle modifications, including a new dashboard layout.
The Hyundai Group's E-GMP architecture serves as the foundation for the EV6. It is accessible in both RWD and AWD versions, both of which feature the same 77.4kWh battery. The single-motor RWD version produces 226bhp and 350Nm, while the dual-motor AWD version delivers 321bhp and 605Nm. These variants are based on the GT Line variant. According to market speculation, Kia will not make any mechanical changes to the upgraded model.
Kia EV6 Facelift: India Launch
Kia has not released any details regarding the upgraded EV6's India debut. Market rumours, however, indicate that the vehicle will first make its debut in South Korea next year and then will be launched in other countries, including India.

The Kia car is expected to have a new 10.2-inch touchscreen and a fully digital instrument cluster, just like the Seltos SUV. The new Sonet will compete against the Hyundai Venue, Mahindra XUV300, and Maruti Suzuki Brezza, among others, and will have an ex-showroom price range of Rs 8 lakh to Rs 15 lakh.
