The 2025 Kia EV6 moves away from its earlier 58kWh and 77.4kWh battery options, opting for larger 63kWh and 84kWh batteries, which it shares with the updated Hyundai Ioniq 5.

With several features and cosmetic improvements, the updated Kia EV6 is expected to fetch a hefty premium over the existing model, which retails between Rs 60.97 lakh and Rs 65.97 lakh (both, ex-showroom).

Kia India launched the "Kia Lease" programme in May this year with the Seltos, Sonet, and Carens models. After a positive response, the manufacturer has now added the EV6 crossover electric SUV to the lineup.

According to Kia India, the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH) has been notified of the voluntary recall, and the company will contact the impacted customers personally.

The limited-edition Kia EV6 celebrates the electric crossover's victory as Utility Vehicle of the Year at the 2023 North American Car, Truck, and Utility Vehicle of the Year competition in January by producing just 1,000 units of them.

During 2023 Monterey Car Week, Kia will officially unveil the limited-edition version of the current EV6 in a worldwide premiere in California. The limited-edition model will be based on the EV6 GT-Line trim, according to some industry reports.

Currently, Kia is also extending exclusive ownership privileges to the first 200 buyers of the EV6, including a 95 per cent buyback policy within 30 days, free periodic maintenance for 5 years, and 8 years/1.60 lakh kilometre warranty on the battery.
