Jaguar Land Rover is celebrating the 75 years of its F-Type sports car in 2023. The manufacturer has unveiled a special edition F-Type to commemorate this milestone, the F-Type 75. This special edition will soon be making its way to the Indian market in two body styles-coupe and convertible. The British automaker will eventually move to an electric line-up in 2025, making 2023 the final model year for the iconic sports car. The deliveries for the same will start early next year.
The firm unveiled the F-Type 75 special edition with two engine options. One is Jaguar's 5.0-litre supercharged V8 engine, which has 448bhp and 580Nm of torque. It has a top speed of 285km/h and can accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 4.6 seconds. The other is a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged engine that generates 296bhp. With blacked-out external chrome accents and alloy wheels, the F-Type 75 can be differentiated from its regular counterpart in terms of exterior design. It features 20-inch gloss black five split-spoke wheels, a unique fender badge, a black grille badge, LED headlights with DRLs, wheel centre caps, a 12.3-inch driver display, and heated and cooled seats. A special Giola Green paint option is also available for the 75th-anniversary edition.
