This car gets a 1999cc turbocharged diesel or petrol engine having four inline cylinders with four valves per cylinder functional through a dual overhead camshaft. The rated power output of the diesel engine is up to 201bhp at 3750 rpm and up to 430 Nm at 1750 rpm whereas it is up to 247bhp at 5500 rpm and up to 365 Nm at 1500 rpm for the petrol engine.
