In the Bhopal region specifically, the all-new Verna has a waiting period of up to 30 weeks. This prolonged waiting duration is relevant to the EX, S, SX, and SX(O) models. It is important to remember that the current waiting period is the same as it was in June 2023. The updated Verna costs between Rs 10.90 lakh and Rs 17.38 lakh. These are both ex-showroom prices. Hyundai Verna: Engine
Under the hood, the all-new Verna offers a choice between two engines: a 1.5-litre NA unit and a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol mill. The former petrol motor produces a maximum power of 113bhp and a peak torque of 144Nm, whereas the latter 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine generates 158bhp of peak power and 253Nm of top torque. In terms of transmission, the petrol model gets a choice between a six-speed manual unit and an IVT unit. On the other hand, the turbo-petrol mill comes with a six-speed manual and a seven-speed DCT as transmission options. Hyundai does not provide a diesel engine option with the all-new Verna.
Hyundai Verna: Features
The new Verna boasts several features such as 16-inch designer wheels, connected-type LED taillamps, a full-width DRL, a blacked-out Parametric grille, bumper-mounted LED headlamps, and much more. Inside, the sedan sports a sunroof, dual 10.25-inch screens, an 8-speaker Bose music system, heated and ventilated seats, and a switchable touch-based interface.
Hyundai renders some variants of the Verna with the Advanced Driver Assistant System (ADAS) that comes with approximately 17 Level 2 ADAS capabilities, powered by Hyundai SmartSense. These ADAS features are identical to the ones found in Hyundai's latest Tucson SUV model, comprising adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, rear cross-traffic alert, high beam assistance, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring, and more.

Hyundai i20 Facelift Launched in India
Hyundai has recently launched the i20 Facelift at a starting price of Rs 6.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The hatchback has received an update with a new base-spec Era variant, bringing down the model's starting price. The facelift now has five variants – Era, Magna, Sportz, Asta, and Asta(O). The 1-litre turbo-petrol unit is not available anymore, and the new i20 is now driven by a 1.2-litre petrol engine that can generate 82bhp and 115Nm. Both CVT automatic and 5-speed manual transmission are available as gearbox options.
