Hyundai Verna Attracts Discount of up to Rs 55,000 in March

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) is giving away several attractive deals on its well-liked mid-size sedan, the Verna. As of this month, potential customers have a great chance to bring home the car with discounts worth up to Rs 55,000. The Verna is still a top competitor in the mid-size sedan market thanks to its appealing look, smooth ride, and variety of engine and transmission choices. On both the MY2023 and MY2024 models, these offers can be availed in the form of exchange bonuses and cash benefits. It is important to note that the discount offers are valid through March 31, 2024. Starting with the biggest discounts, the Verna MY2023 stock is available with perks amounting to Rs 55,000. This includes exchange bonuses of up to Rs 25,000 and cash discounts of up to Rs 30,000. On the other hand, the MY2024 stock can be had with cash discounts of up to Rs 15,000 and exchange incentives of up to Rs 20,000, totalling Rs 35,000.
Hyundai Verna: Under the Hood
Under the hood, the all-new Verna offers a choice between two engines: a 1.5-litre NA unit and a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol mill. The former petrol motor produces a maximum power of 113bhp and a peak torque of 144Nm, whereas the latter 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine generates 158bhp of peak power and 253Nm of torque. In terms of transmission, the petrol model gets a choice between a six-speed manual unit and an IVT unit. On the other hand, the turbo-petrol mill comes with a six-speed manual and a seven-speed DCT as transmission options. Hyundai does not provide a diesel engine option with the all-new Verna.
Hyundai Verna: Exterior Elements and Interior Features
The 2023 Verna is equipped with many features, including bumper-mounted LED headlamps, 16-inch designer alloys, connected-type LED taillamps, a full-width DRL, a blacked-out Parametric grille, and much more. The sedan's interior boasts an eight-speaker Bose sound system, heated and ventilated seats, a sunroof, two 10.25-inch screens, and a switchable touch-based interface.
Hyundai offers a few Verna variants with the Advanced Driver Assistant System (ADAS), which consists of about 17 Level 2 ADAS capabilities driven by Hyundai SmartSense. These ADAS features are the same as those available in Hyundai's Tucson SUV model which comprises adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, rear cross-traffic alert, high beam assistance, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring, and more.
Hyundai Verna: Price, Variants and Rivals
The price range for the Hyundai Verna, which has four trim levels—EX, S, SX, and SX(O)—starts at Rs 11 lakh and goes all the way up to Rs 17.38 lakh. The mentioned costs are ex-showroom figures. In our market, the sedan fights off against the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, the Skoda Slavia, the 2023 Honda City, and the Volkswagen Virtus, among others.
