2022 Hyundai Tucson to be unveiled on July 13 in India
The new Hyundai Tucson comes with a host of new additions both in terms of cosmetics as well as features. Under the hood, the car will continue with the same 2.0-litre petrol and diesel engines.
Hyundai has officially confirmed that the new Tucson will make its debut in India on July 13, and the company will reveal its price shortly after. Once launched, the car will take on the likes of Volkswagen Tiguan, Jeep Compass, and Citroen C5 Aircross.
The new Tucson will continue with the same 2.0-litre petrol and diesel engines, which will be mated to either a six-speed manual unit or a six-speed automatic unit, just like the older model.
In terms of design, the Tucson is expected to come with a new grille with integrated LED DRLs on either side, triangular-shaped headlamps, and a new set of 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels.
In terms of safety, the car comes with forward collision-avoidance assist, lane keep assist, high-beam assist, driver attention warning, and rear occupant alert, among others.
Hyundai has not yet revealed the feature list of the Indian model, but we expect the new Tucson to come with a 10.25-inch infotainment system, a similarly sized fully digital instrument cluster, a wireless smartphone charger, a panoramic sunroof, power-adjustable front row seats with ventilation, and a 360-degree camera.
