The Audi Q7 is a quintessential SUV whose facelift version was launched on 28 November 2024, in India. It goes against the BMW M2 and the BMW X3 M40i with similar engine displacement in the luxury SUV segment. Audi Q7 Engine and Transmission

The Q7 is equipped with a 2995cc TFSI V6 engine with a 48V mild hybrid system that provides an enhanced performance. It generates a peak power and torque of 335bhp at 5200-6400 rpm and 500 Nm at 1370-4500 rpm, respectively. These deliveries are transferred to the wheels through an eight-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission system having paddle shift and sport mode.

The Q7 car achieves a 0-100 km/h acceleration within 5.6 seconds, as claimed by the carmaker. The top speed of this Audi SUV is stated to be 250 km/h.

This car comes with a Quattro all-wheel-drive setup. Its suspension setup includes a five-link axle at both ends, including a tubular anti-roll bar with self-leveling air-springs. It rides on 19-inch alloy wheels sporting 255mm wide radial tyres ensuring stable ride performance. On the braking front, it incorporates ventilated discs on all four wheels for accurate stopping power.

It has a wheelbase of 3000mm and an overall length of 5072mm. It is 1970mm wide and has a height of 1705mm. The fuel tank capacity of this SUV is 85 litres.

The front end flaunts an impressive octagonal grille with chrome surrounds and the brand logo in it. The headlamps are slightly rectangular and boast striking daytime running lights. The side profile features body-coloured door handles, chrome window surrounds, and rear-view mirrors with integrated blinkers. The wheels are designed with V-shape wide spokes mounting the red brake callipers. In the rear, the Audi Q7 showcases gun-shaped tail lamps, a chrome element connecting the lights, and a twin tailpipe.

This luxury SUV can accommodate seven people in its Gray Brown upholstered cabin. It is equipped with multiple drive modes, matrix LED lighting, and a four-zone climate control system. It also has an air ionizer to enhance the air quality and a phone box charger for wireless charging. The Audi Q7 has an adaptive and intuitive digital cockpit with a 12.30-inch HD screen, providing ultra-clear visuals. The car also gets a 10.1-inch dual-screen navigation MMI navigation with touch response. It has smartphone integration available with multiple connectivity options.

The car cabin includes a premium 3-D sound system offering a three-dimensional sound experience. The second-row seats get USB ports to offer the feasibility of charging the phone.

Audi Q7 Safety Features

In terms of safety, it gets eight airbags, an over-speed warning system, a seatbelt warning, and child seat anchor points. It also boasts lane departure warning, emergency brake light flashing, blind spot monitor, and tyre pressure monitor, among others.
