On the mechanical front, the next-generation Honda Amaze will likely feature a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated (NA) petrol engine, delivering 88bhp of maximum power and 110Nm of peak torque.

The 2025 Amaze is expected to draw design elements from the latest Honda City, showcasing a bold, wide grille, with the Honda logo prominently positioned in the centre.

In terms of price, the third-gen Honda Amaze is anticipated to be more expensive than the existing iteration, which is priced between Rs 7.20 lakh and Rs 9.96 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

For adult occupant protection, the Honda Amaze scored below optimal due to the absence of standard Electronic Stability Control (ESC), optional side head protection, and a driver-only seat belt reminder. 

The new-gen Honda Amaze is reportedly in the works for launching in India by 2024. It has been reported that the sub-4 metre sedan is most likely to share its platform with the upcoming Honda mid-size SUV.

The Honda Amaze Diesel, which was available in three variants, has been removed from the official website ahead of the RDE norms' implementation. The company now only sells the Honda WR-V and the fifth-generation City as diesel-powered vehicles in India.

Despite the production slowdown caused by the shortage of semiconductors, Honda India has managed to keep the sales flow of the Amaze to its optimum. Honda has 2 lakh second-gen Amaze within three years.
