Citroen has introduced automatic transmission variants of the C3 hatchback in India, starting at Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom). In terms of market rivalry, the Citroen C3 AT competes directly with the automatic variants of the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios, Maruti Suzuki Swift, and the Tata Punch. 

As part of updates for 2024, the Citroen C3 now offers an option of a 6-speed automatic gearbox, which is paired with a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine.

Citroen India used to provide Zesty Orange paintwork for the roof in a couple of dual-tone options. The new Cosmo Blue shade has replaced the orange hue even when it comes to dual-tone colours.

The Citroen C3 hatchback is available with discounts of up to Rs 35,000 in August. This hatchback has three variants: Live, Feel, and Shine, and retails at a starting price of Rs 6.16 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Citroen C3 hatchback received a surprising 0-star rating in the Latin NCAP crash tests, carried out for the Latin American auto markets. In terms of adult occupant safety, the C3 received 12.21 points. Meanwhile, with regard to child occupant protection, the hatchback got 5.93 points.

The prices of the C3 hatchback will increase by up to Rs 17,500 in India from July 2023. The model is available in three variants: Live, Feel, and Shine. The hike will probably vary depending on the versions of the C3.

The Citroen C3 Shine is now more appealing to younger generation of buyers in India thanks to the inclusion of the My Citroen Connect app, which boasts over 35 connectivity features. As part of the upgrade, C3 received new and improved safety features.

The C3 Shine has been launched by Citroen in India. It is available in four trim levels: 1.2P Shine, 1.2P Shine Vibe Pack, 1.2P Shine Dual Tone, and 1.2P Shine Dual Tone Vibe Pack. The 1.2P Shine trim costs Rs 7.60 lakh while the 1.2P Shine Dual Tone Vibe Pack costs Rs 7.87 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Citroen C3 Shine comes with a starting price of Rs 7.60 lakh and go up to Rs 7.87 lakh. Prices are ex-showroom. It is available in 1.2P Shine, 1.2P Shine Vibe Pack, 1.2P Shine Dual Tone, and 1.2P Shine Dual Tone Vibe Pack versions.

Citroen is all set to introduce its first electric offering in the country, called the Citroen e-C3. The upcoming e-C3 is slated to be launched early next year, soon after the 2023 Auto Expo. The electric hatchback may be priced between Rs 10-12 lakh.
