Citroen C3 Aircross Automatic Variant Bookings Commence for Rs 25,000 Ahead of India Launch
Citroen is set to unveil the C3 Aircross Automatic in India on January 29, with expectations of incorporating several new connected car features alongside the introduction of an automatic gearbox in the upcoming version.
The C3 Aircross (automatic) is now open to booking at the Citroen dealership for Rs 25,000. The later part of next month is when deliveries are expected to begin. Around Rs. 1 lakh more than the manual variant is anticipated to be the price of the automatic version. Reportedly, the C3 Aircross Automatic, which will reportedly cost more than the current model's Rs 9.99 lakh (starting price, ex-showroom), will hit the Indian market on January 29. While there has been no official word on it, further connectivity features could be included to the next automatic Citroen C3 Aircross models. Citroen could attract more customers looking for features and an automatic gearbox. In case you were wondering, the C3 Aircross is an SUV with three rows and can seat either five or seven people.
Citroen C3 Aircross Automatic: What to Expect?
Engine specs for the current C3 Aircross include a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol unit with 108bhp and 190Nm of torque, mated to a six-speed manual transmission. Details are unknown, however, the India-spec C3 Aircross Automatic may include a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.

There will be two versions of the automatic gearbox available in India: Plus and Max. The forthcoming C3 Aircross Automatic is anticipated to be identical to the manual version, with the exception of the automatic gearbox and a handful of connected car capabilities.
Current C3 Aircross safety features include an electronic stability program, rear parking sensors, a TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System), dual front airbags, electronic brake distribution (EBD), and anti-lock brakes (ABS). Notable features of the Citroen SUV include automatic climate control, air vents situated on the roof, USB ports, a digital instrument cluster with a display of 7.0 inches, controls located on the steering wheel, and an infotainment system with a touchscreen of 10.23 inches. It is a well-equipped and technologically modern vehicle since it enables seamless wireless connectivity for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Citroen C3 Aircross Automatic: Rivals
Its current pricing range (ex-showroom Delhi) is between Rs 9.99 lakh and Rs 12.75 lakh, putting it in direct rivalry with other popular models like the MG Astor, Honda Elevate, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Volkswagen Taigun, and Skoda Kushaq.
