BYD Atto 3 Latest Updates

1. 20 August 2024: The introductory pricing of the Dynamic variant of the Atto 3 has been extended in India.
2. 10 July 2024: BYD launches the Dynamic and Premium variants of the Atto 3 electric SUV.
3. 08 July 2024: BYD is slated to launch a new entry-level variant of the Atto 3 in India on 10 July 2024.

BYD Atto 3 Powertrain and Transmission

This BYD SUV is equipped with an electric motor that draws power from a 60.48kWh lithium-ion phosphate battery. A maximum of 201bhp and 310 Nm of torque is transferred to the drivetrain through this powertrain setup. It is mated to an automatic gearbox that transmits these deliveries to the wheels.

With the aforementioned deliveries, the car achieves an acceleration of 0-100 km/h within 7.3-7.9 seconds.  

BYD Atto 3 Driving Range

The EV delivers a range of up to 468 km on the base and 521 km on the rest variants. The battery can be charged 0 to 80% within 50 minutes using a DC charger. Through a normal AC charger, it can be charged fully in about 8-10 hours.

The Atto 3 is equipped with a McPherson front strut and Multi-link rear suspension. Its base variant rides on 17-inch alloy wheels while the others have 18-inch alloys sporting 215mm wide radial tyres. Its braking setup incorporates ventilated front discs and solid rear discs that provide optimum control and stopping capability.

The Atto 3 comes with a host of advanced features and modern technology including seven airbags and a 360-degree monitor. It also boasts an ABS with EBD, front and rear parking sensors, and an electronic parking brake system. It also gets an electronic stability control, a hill descent control, and a tyre pressure monitoring system, among others.
