BMW X5 SUV Becomes Expensive by up to Rs 1.10 Lakh in India, Check New Prices
As a result of the price revision, the price of the BMW X5 now starts at Rs 96 lakh and goes up to Rs 1.10 crore (ex-showroom, India).
Citing rising input costs and fluctuations in exchange rates, BMW India has hiked the prices across its entire model range, including the X5. As a result of the price revision, the price of the X5 now starts at Rs 96 lakh and goes up to Rs 1.10 crore (ex-showroom, India). BMW updated the X5 in July last year with the latest generation 48V mild-hybrid technology and a few tweaks to the exterior and interior.
The BMW X5 is offered in four variants: xDrive40i xLine, xDrive30d xLine, xDrive40i M Sport, and xDrive30d M Sport, the first two of which have now become expensive by an identical Rs 80,000, while the last two have received a uniform hike of Rs 1.10 lakh. BMW X5: Powertrain
The facelifted version of the X5 gets a petrol engine and a diesel engine option, both of them are in-line, 6-cylinder units. A 3.0-litre petrol engine offered with the X5 40i cranks out 376bhp of maximum power and 520Nm of peak torque. The car can do 0 to 100km/h acceleration in 5.4 seconds. A 3.0-litre diesel unit in the X5 30d, on the other hand, makes 282bhp and 650Nm. This version can sprint from 0 to 100km/h in 6.1 seconds.
Besides, the SUV features an 8-speed automatic gearbox and BMW's xDrive all-wheel-drive system as standard, along with a 48V battery and an electric motor. The result is an increased power and torque output of 12bhp and 200Nm, respectively.
BMW X5: Safety Kit
In terms of safety, the 2023 BMW X5 is packed with features, such as 6 airbags, attentive assistance, an electric parking brake with auto hold, cornering brake control, ISOFIX child seat mounts, a crash sensor, cruise control, remote parking, a surround-view camera, and so on.

The brand currently has 11 completely knocked-down (CKD) and 11 completely built-up (CBU) products on sale in India. The CKD includes the 2 Series Gran Coupe, 3 Series Gran Limousine, 7 Series, X1, X3, X5, X7, M340i, 5 Series, 6 Series, and the Mini Countryman, while the CBU includes the Z4, M4 Coupe, M5, M8 Coupe, X3 M40i, X4 M40i, XM, and a few electric vehicles, including the iX1, i4, i7, and iX.
