BMW M4 Competition Engine and Transmission

This luxury car is powered by a 2993cc B58 twin-turbocharged I6 engine with four-valve per-cylinder configuration. It generates a peak power and torque of 503bhp at 6250 rpm and 650 rpm at 2750 rpm, respectively. The engine gets coupled with an eight-speed automatic transmission system that transfers these deliveries to the wheels.

The BMW M4 competition is capable of achieving a sprint of 0-100 km/h within 3.5 seconds. Its top speed has been claimed to be 250 km/h. The top speed can go up to 290 km/h with the optional M Driver's package.

The cabin of this vehicle is features loaded. It has a 12.3-inch instrument cluster that provides precise and focused driving data. The high-resolution 10.25-inch control display that includes an interactive navigation system. Further, it incorporates head-up display, control panel on central console, red start/stop button, and a wireless charging tray. The infotainment system comes with smartphone integration via Andriod Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity features. Apart from these, a performance steering wheel, carbon fibre interior trims, and the floor mats give an athletic touch.

For Safety, the M4 Competition has six airbags, an antilock braking system, and an electronic brake force distribution system. It also gets a tyre pressure monitoring system, an electronic stability control, a traction control system, and brake assist. Besides these, a limited slip differential speed sensing door locks, central locking are also included, among many other features. It also has diver assistance features such as lane keeping assist, front collision warning, evasion assistant, parking assistant plus, etc.
