Audi Q8 Facelift to be Launched in India Tomorrow: Here's All You Need to Know
Audi India is all set to launch the Q8 facelift in India tomorrow, 22 August. The India-spec Audi Q8 facelift will be driven by a 3.0-litre turbo-petrol V6 engine and a 48V mild-hybrid setup, producing 335bhp and 500Nm.
Audi India is gearing up to launch its new offering, the Q8 facelift, in India tomorrow. The Q8, which debuted globally last September, will remain the brand's flagship SUV option in our market. The model is based on Volkswagen's same MLB Evo platform as the Audi Q8 e-tron and is an improved version of the Audi Q8, which came to India in 2020. As for the exterior paint jobs, the luxury car manufacturer will offer eight appealing options: Sakhir Gold, Waitomo Blue, Mythos Black, Samurai Grey, Glacier White, Satellite Silver, Tamarind Brown, and Vicuna Beige. Ahead of its official launch, Audi India has already opened order books for the 2024 Q8 facelift. Interested customers can book their new Q8 through the My Audi Connet app or the official Audi website for a token amount of Rs 5 lakh.

Audi Q8 Facelift: Updated Appearance
The Audi Q8 facelift, which had its global debut last year, has received updates in the form of slight cosmetic changes, notably in the lighting components, but no major alterations. The vehicle has a new daytime running light (DRL) signature, a fresh 2D logo, and modified bumpers. In addition, the grille and air intake have been improved. The firm will offer four distinct designs for OLED lighting with animations. There are five unique wheel styles with sizes ranging from 21 to 23 inches. When stationary, the facelift model's rear lights turn on automatically if a vehicle approaches within 2 metres of it from behind.
Audi Q8 Facelift: Cabin Layout and Features
Except for new upholstery and colour options, the Q8 facelift's interior layout is similar to its predecessor. Buyers can choose from four interior colour schemes: Okapi Brown, Saiga Beige, Black, and Pando Grey. While the cabin will likely remain closely comparable to the previous generation, Audi may provide new stitching on the upholstery. The car's features could include dual MMI touchscreens, Amazon Music and Spotify apps compatibility, a panoramic sunroof, a head-up display, four-zone climate control, motorised front seats, multi-colour ambient lighting, a Bang & Olufsen sound system, and a powered tailgate.
Regarding safety, the German carmaker's upcoming model may offer ABS with EBD, electronic stability control (ESC), front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, several airbags, a lane-changing monitor, and enhanced ADAS technology.

Audi Q8 Facelift: Powertrain Options and Expected Price
The India-spec Audi Q8 facelift will be driven by a 3.0-litre turbo-petrol V6 engine and a 48V mild-hybrid setup. This system belts out 335bhp of maximum power and 500Nm of peak torque, with a claimed 0-100km/h acceleration time of 5.6 seconds and a top speed of 250km/h. Furthermore, an eight-speed automatic transmission distributes power to all four wheels.
The updated Q8 will be slightly pricier than its predecessor. As far as the Indian market is concerned, it should cost between Rs 1.10 crore and Rs 1.30 crore. Both prices are ex-showroom figures.
