Audi Q8 Facelift Bookings Open at Rs 5 Lakh Ahead of August 22 Launch in India

Audi India has started accepting bookings for its updated Q8 SUV, which is slated to launch on August 22 in the country. Interested customers can book the SUV through Audi India's website or myAudi Connect. The booking amount is set at Rs 5 lakh.
Teased a couple of days ago, the new Audi Q8 is expected to get subtle visual changes and new features. Expected visual changes include a revised grille with new inserts; HD Matrix LED headlamps with a high-power laser diode; new alloy wheels ranging from 21 to 23 inches; and connected LED taillamps with OLED technology. As for colour options, Audi will launch the new Q8 in India in the following exterior shades for customers to choose from – Sakhir Gold, Waitomo Blue, Mythos Black, Samurai Gray, Glacier White, Satellite Silver, Tamarind Brown, and Vicuna Beige.

Meanwhile, the interior will be offered in four colour schemes: Okapi Brown, Saiga Beige, Black, and Pando Gray. While the cabin will likely stay almost identical to the outgoing version's, Audi could offer different stitching on the upholstery. Features-wise, the car could continue with twin MMI touchscreens, a head-up display, four-zone climate control, powered front seats, multi-colour ambient lighting, a Bang &Olufsen sound system, and a powered tailgate.
In terms of safety, Audi could equip the upcoming model with ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, multiple airbags, and improved ADAS tech.
Audi Q8 Facelift: Powertrain
The India-spec Q8 facelift will be powered by a 3.0-litre turbo-petrol V6 engine paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system. The setup develops 335bhp and 500Nm of peak torque, resulting in a claimed 0–100km/h acceleration time of 5.6 seconds before reaching a top speed of 250km/h. Power is sent to all four wheels through an 8-speed automatic gearbox.

The Audi Q8 facelift is based on the same Volkswagen Group MLB Evo platform as the Q8 e-tron, and is the updated version of the Audi Q8 introduced in India in 2020. With mild cosmetic changes and new features, the new Audi Q8 will likely carry a premium over the current iteration (Rs 1.07 crore to Rs 1.43 crore, ex-showroom).
