Audi recalls 50,000 units of Q7, Q8 SUVs due to fuel pump issue
Audi has issued a mandatory recall of nearly 50,000 units of Q7 and Q8 SUVs that were manufactured between 2019 and 2021 due to a fuel pump issue that will potentially lead to internal engine failure.

Audi’s bringing back the Q7 to India after an almost two-year hiatus. This time around, it’s a petrol-only offering. The launch date of the SUV has been revealed and it is already being produced at the VW Group’s plant in Aurangabad, Maharashtra.

Audi is accepting bookings for its upcoming SUV, the Q7. Previously, the German carmaker sold the pre-facelift model in India, which could be had with a diesel engine. The new Q7, however, will be a petrol-only model as the VW Group is following a petrol-only strategy in India.
