Audi Q2 Discontinued in India? Model Delisted From Website
The Audi Q2 SUV has been delisted from Audi India's website and shows no longer available for purchase. As the brand's entry-level SUV in India, the recently introduced new-generation Audi Q3 has replaced the Q2 model.
The Audi Q2 is no longer available on the German automaker's official site in India. The SUV has been delisted just two years after it was introduced in the country.
Audi has not yet made an official announcement about whether or not the Q2 will be discontinued. However, Audi has seemed to have removed the SUV from its purchase list for the time being due to the poor sales performance of its smallest SUV.
The Audi Q2 was introduced in India at a starting price of ₹35 lakh (ex-showroom). The crossover, which debuted in October 2020, was the brand's entry-level model, available in five trim levels – Standard, Premium, Premium Plus I, Premium Plus II, and Technology.

A 2.0-litre TFSI petrol engine with 187bhp and 320Nm of torque powered the Audi Q2, which was fitted with the manufacturer's all-wheel-drive system, and the powertrain was coupled to a seven-speed automatic transmission. The Q2 arrived in India as a CBU model. Moreover, it was underpinned by the adaptable MQB platform, which is also used by the VW Group.
The new Audi Q3, currently the firm's most affordable offering in India, takes the place of the delisted Audi Q2. The Q3, which has a price tag of ₹44.89 lakh (ex-showroom), comes in Premium Plus and Technology trims and is powered by the same 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine.

Now, with the possible discontinuation of the Audi Q2, it is likely that the Ingolstadt-based carmaker will focus on selling larger premium SUVs and crossovers in the Indian market.
