The e-tron SUV undergoes a thorough upgrade with the introduction of the new Audi Q8 e-tron. It not only receives aesthetic and functional upgrades but also has Q8 appended to its name. Moreover, the e-tron 50, the e-tron 55, the e-tron Sportback 55, the e-tron GT, and the RS e-tron GT are just a few of the additional EVs the German luxury vehicle manufacturer plans to offer in India with the addition of this electric SUV. The new Audi Q8 e-tron will ship as a completely built unit (CBU) at launch. The country SUV and Sportback are the two main body types that the Audi Q8 e-tron will come in. There will be a total of three EV variants: Q8 50 e-tron, Q8 55 e-tron, and SQ8 e-tron. Audi Q8 e-tron: Interior Updates
Only minimal interior changes have been made to the Q8 e-Tron, and Audi says the dashboard is composed of recyclable materials. The displays on the Q8 e-three Tron include a 10-inch infotainment screen, a third screen for temperature control, and a digital driving display. 40 driver assistance systems are only one of the new features on the Audi Q8 e-tron. The central driver assistance control unit then analyses the environmental data that is provided by up to five radar sensors, five cameras, and 12 ultrasonic sensors. Additionally, customers will be able to opt for a new remote park assist plus for the vehicle. Digital Matrix LED headlights are an option for the new vehicle.
Audi Q8 e-tron: Battery Pack, Range and Charging Time
Speaking of the drivetrain, dual electric motors with a combined output of 335bhp and 664Nm power the Audi Q8 50 e-tron quattro. Depending on the body design, it is driven by a 95kWh battery pack with a maximum range of 505-kilometre. The Q8 55 e-tron, meanwhile, has a 104kWh battery pack that promises a maximum range of 600-kilometre and produces 402bhp of maximum power and 664Nm of peak torque. The SQ8 e-tron is the name of the high-performance variant of the electric vehicle. It has three electric motors with a total maximum power output of 496bhp and a peak torque of 973Nm. With a 104kWh battery pack, this electric vehicle has a 513-kilometre range on a single charge. An important feature of the e-tron is that it will support 170kW DC fast charging, allowing the battery pack to charge from 10 per cent to 80 per cent in less than half an hour.
Audi Q8 e-tron: Exterior Styling
Aside from the new Q8 e-tron, the firm also rolled out a redesigned Q8 Sportback e-tron. According to Audi, both models are now even more recognisable at first sight as fully electric cars thanks to several aesthetic modifications, particularly at the front. A distinctive singleframe mask, the inverted grille, and the blade above the reworked rear diffuser are some of the updated features of the new Q8 range. The automaker claims that all of these elements advance Audi's electrified design language. Besides, the S Line package on the vehicle receives a special highlight in the shape of a singleframe grille completed in body colour.

Audi Q8 e-tron: Competition Check
The upcoming EV will likely make its way to our country in mid-August. Upon launch, the new Audi Q8 e-tron will compete against the likes of the BMW iX electric SUV and the Mercedes EQC in the Indian market.
