This two-wheeler is powered by a 155 CC liquid-cooled, four-stroke, fuel injector engine with a four valves configuration on a single overhead camshaft, which gets mated with a constant mesh six-speed transmission system through a wet multi-plate clutch system. It pumps out a maximum power of 18.1bhp at 10000 rpm and an utmost torque of 14.2 Nm at 7500 rpm. Further, the claimed Yamaha R15 mileage is 50 km/l. As it is rated mileage recorded in certain predefined conditions, it may vary a bit from the real-world mileage.
