1. 05 December 2024: Hero launches the Vida V2 in three variants. Its price starts from INR 96000.

Vida V2 Powertrain

The scooter is sold in three variants, each of which comes with a different battery setup as mentioned below:

A PMSM motor with an integrated gearbox and controller draws power from the respective battery setup, to propel the vehicle.

Vida V2 Transmission

The battery of the V2 gets mated to a single-speed automatic transmission system that offers an effortless ride experience.

Vida V2 Riding Range

On a single charge, it delivers an optimum range that’s good enough for the daily city grind. The certified range figures and real-world range figures are as follows:

Vida V2 Charging

A 0 to 80% charge can attained in 3.5 hours for the Lite variant. For the rears of the two variants, the same charge can be attained in 5-6 hours.

A Public DC fast charger can charge the battery for 1-1.2 km within a minute, as stated by the manufacturer.

Vida V2 Ride Modes

The ‘Lite’ variant has two ride modes – Eco and Ride – while the ‘Plus’ variant has an additional Sports mode too. The ‘Pro’ variant gets a ‘Custom’ mode over and above Eco, Ride, and Sports modes.

Vida V2 Specifications

This Vida electric scooter has telescopic front forks and a mono-shock absorber in the rear. It rides on 12-inch alloy wheels sporting tubeless tyres. On the braking front, it gets a disc brake in the front and a drum brake in the rear.

It has a ground clearance of 155mm and a wheelbase of 1301 mm. The seat has been positioned at a height of 777mm.

Vida V2 Exterior Design

The Vida V2 electric scooter flaunts a sculpted multi-panel front apron boasting the brand logo. It incorporates the headlamp in a way that seems to be between someone’s palms. The sleek three-point indicators have been placed on the handlebar which features a bold-looking head. The rear-view mirrors are in multi-dimensional shape while the front fender is short.

The side profile exhibits a single-seat design and a stylish side panel. The floorboard is wide enough to keep the regular luggage. In the rear, it showcases a wide tail lamp and sleek turn indicators.

Vida V2 Features

This electric scooter comes with plenty of features such as keyless entry, cruise control, and a follow-me-home lighting system. It also has an electronic seat and handle lock and a two-way throttle for reverse and regen assist. The regen-assist tech tops up the batteries during the braking. In addition, it has a vibrant 7-inch touch-enabled clear screen to display the essential rider information at a glance. It displays information such as speed, battery speed, distance travelled, etc. The smartphone can be connected to the TFT screen through the My Vida App to get incoming call alerts, etc.

Vida V2 Warranty

Vida offers a vehicle warranty of five years or 50000 km; both conditions should be met to avail of the warranty. Similarly, the battery warranty is three years or 30000 km.
