Vespa Urban Club Highlights

The Urban Club – earlier known as the UC 125 – is quite a premium package at an affordable price. While the Urban Club stays mechanically identical to the Notte, Red, SXL 125, and the VXL 125, the only distinguishing factor between these scooters is the styling. First of all, the Urban Club gets black treatment on the side mirrors, alloy wheels, and grab rail instead of the chrome or silver finishing of the more expensive Vespa offerings. Second, the Urban Club does away with disc brakes in favour of drum brakes to keep the costs in check.

Exterior Details

The Urban Club 125 is a refreshing and colourful variant of the Notte with an affordable price tag. It stays dimensionally identical to other Vespa offerings at 1,770mm of length, 690mm of width, and 1,140mm of height. The iconic scooter has a small fuel tank capacity of 8 litres, and it weighs 114kg. The ground clearance of the Urban Club is 155mm. Engine & Transmission

The Vespa Urban Club specifications include a 125cc single-cylinder powertrain that churns out 9.5bhp of power and 9.9Nm of torque. The engine offers a smooth and refined riding experience and comes mated to a flawless CVT automatic transmission.

The Vespa Urban Club has a claimed mileage of 45km/l and a maximum speed of 104km/h.

Handling

The Vespa Urban Club offers an excellent ride quality and light handling for easy manoeuvres. The scooter features a monocoque frame and rides on an arm with coil spring & dual effect shock absorber suspension setup at the front and a coil spring and dual effect shock absorber setup at the back. The stopping power comes from a 150mm drum at the front and a 140mm drum brake at the rear. The wheels are shod with 90/100-10 53J tyres at both front and rear.

Features

The Vespa Urban Club new model comes equipped with CBS (combined braking system) as a piece of standard safety equipment. The instrument cluster comprises an analogue speedometer, a fuel gauge, and a small digital clock. In terms of lighting, it gets a halogen headlamp at the front and an LED taillamp at the rear. The Vespa Urban Club colours are limited to four shades – Azurro Provenza, Maze Grey, Glossy Yellow, and Glossy Red.
