Exterior Details

The Vespa LX 125 gets a simplistic retro scooter design that looks rather appealing with a great fit and finish. The design features a round headlight with chrome finishing, body-coloured panels and gets slightly almost sporty leaned-forward ergonomics. It gets a few quirky and bright colour schemes aligned with the scooter's retro appeal.

Engine & Transmission

The Vespa LX 125 is powered by a 125cc BS6 emissions-compliant, single-cylinder engine. The engine delivers 10PS of power at 7500rpm and 10.6Nm of peak torque at 5500rpm. These figures are more or less similar to its previous variant, the outgoing BS4 model. For safety, the scooter gets a Combined Braking System.

Handling

The Vespa LX 125 is suspended on a single sidearm suspension on the front end with Anti-Dive features. The rear end gets a shock absorber. Despite the scooter's hefty premium, stopping power is provided by drum brakes only on both the front and rear.  

Features

The Vespa LX 125 shares design similarities with the rest of Vespa's lineup, with mostly cosmetic differences. The Vespa LX 125 gets few features in keeping up with its retro style. The scooter does get a front disc brake and an analogue speedometer that only shows fuel level besides speed.

Price & Variants 

The Vespa LX 125 is available in India at a price point of ₹96,723 (Ex-Showroom). The scooter gets only a single variant, and six quirky colour schemes - Nero Volcano, Monte Bianco, Rosso Dragon, Giallo Lime, Midnight Blue and Rosso Chianti.
