TVS Ronin Engine, Specifications, and Performance

This two-wheeler is powered by a 225.9cc oil-cooled four-stroke engine having a single cylinder with four valves configuration on a single overhead camshaft. It gets a five-speed gearbox along with an assist and slipper clutch. The engine is capable of producing a maximum power of 20bhp at 7750 rpm and a peak torque of 19.93Nm at 3750 rpm. The claimed TVS Ronin mileage is 40 km/l which may vary based on the differing ride conditions.

This motorcycle has been built on a double cradle split synchronized stiff frame. The suspension setup includes a 41mm USD front suspension and a seven-step preload adjustable mono-shock suspension in the rear. Further, it gets 17-inch nine-spoke alloy wheels with a 110mm wide front tyre and a 130mm rear tyre. Speaking of braking, a 300mm disc brake performs the braking duty at the front while a 240mm disc is in the rear.

Looking at the dimensions, this bike possesses a length of 2040mm, a width of 805mm, and a height of 1170mm. Apart from that, the TVS Ronin bike has a wheelbase of 1357mm, a ground clearance of 181mm, and a seat height of 795mm. The dual-tone exterior of the bike flaunts a muscular fuel tank with a 3-D brand logo on it, a unique T-face LED headlamp, stylish LED turn indicators with a black element inside, and a full front fender to give it an iconic look. The tyres boast wide blocks that give them sturdy looks. There is also a sleek and stylish-looking chain cover to protect the drive chain. Furthermore, this TVS bike exhibits an upswept exhaust pipe with a full black muffler, a single seat with a slightly widened front, a solid black rear grab bar, solid black leg guards, and a slightly high-mounted instrument cluster giving it a unique look. The rear profile of the bike displays sleek LED tail light, turn indicators, and a registration plate light.

This motorcycle comes with a Glide through technology that helps in effortless riding in slow-moving traffic by offering sufficient maneuverability without acceleration. Further, it gets electric feature-touch ISG, upside-down front forks for enhanced stability, a slipper clutch for smooth gear shift transitions, three-step adjustable levers (clutch and front brake), and an off-centre asymmetric speedometer with distance to empty indicator, gear shift indicator, side-stand engine inhibitor, and voice assist, along with call/SMS alert through Bluetooth connectivity feature. Moreover, this TVS motorcycle boasts an antilock braking system with rain and urban modes, two ride modes, and a USB mobile phone charging port.

This bike is sold in five variants with seven colour options. The colours on offer are Magma Red, Lightning Black, Delta Blue, Stargaze Black, Galactic Grey, Nimbus Grey, and Dawn Orange.
