Triumph Street Cup Preview
In a bid to enter the niche café racer segment, Triumph had internationally launched the Street Cup back in 2017. The Street Cup brings in the café racer vibe of the Thruxton to a smaller displacement mill, thus positioning it in a new segment for entry-level riders.
The Street Cup is powered by a 900cc mill, which should be good for 53bhp and 80Nm of torque. As anticipated in the Bonneville street family, this one will also come mated to a five-speed gearbox. The Street Cup is expected to hit the Indian roads by the beginning of next year, likely to be priced in the vicinity of Rs.8 lakh. At this price, it will be competing against the Ducati Scrambler Full Throttle in the Indian market.
