Suzuki Gixxer SF Exterior Details

The Gixxer SF does away with the old curvy design in favour of a new sleeker styling. As a result, the Gixxer looks sporty, muscular, and well-proportioned from every angle. As for the exterior dimensions, the sleeker bike is 2,205mm long, 715mm wide, and 1,035mm high. The bike weighs 146kg and has a ground clearance of 165mm. The Suzuki Gixxer SF specifications include the same 155cc single-cylinder powertrain as that of the Gixxer 155, which produces 13.9bhp and 14Nm of torque. The engine has strong low-end and mid-range, however, it could have done with more power. The five-speed gearbox is slick and precise in its operation.

The Suzuki Gixxer SF is more confident and engaging to ride than its predecessor. The changes to the downtube frame chassis have made it more rigid. The suspension duties are handled by a telescopic suspension setup at the front and a swing arm type monoshock at the back. The 100/80 R17 M/C profile tyre at the front and the 140/60 R17 M/C tyre at the rear provide sufficient grip and agility. The braking power comes from disc brakes both at the front and the rear.

Unlike the Gixxer SF 250 twins, the Gixxer SF gets single-channel ABS as a standard safety fitment. As for the electricals, both the front and the rear feature LED lights as standard. The Suzuki Gixxer SF colours are limited to two shades – glass sparkle black and metallic sonic silver.
