Suzuki Gixxer 250 Exterior Details

The Suzuki Gixxer 250 is, essentially, the naked version of the snazzy Gixxer SF 250. In terms of the dimensions, the Suzuki Gixxer 250 boasts 2,010mm of length, 805mm of width and 1,035mm of height. It has a kerb weight of 156kg, ground clearance of 165mm and a fuel tank capacity of 12-litres.

Suzuki Gixxer 250 Engine & Transmission

Powering the Gixxer 250 is a 249cc single-cylinder mill that is capable of producing 26.1bhp and 22.6Nm of torque. The oil-cooled engine is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. This is, of course, the same engine that does its duty in the Gixxer SF 250. Moreover, the Suzuki Gixxer 250 mileage is more or less similar to its fully-faired sibling, at 36km/l.

Like its faired sibling, the Suzuki Gixxer 250, too, rides on telescopic, coil spring oil damped suspension at the front and a swing arm type, mono suspension at the rear. The stopping power comes from disc brakes at both ends. As for the rubber, the Gixxer 250 gets a 110/70 R17 M/C tyre at the front and a fatter 150/60 R17 M/C tyre at the back.

Features-wise, the Suzuki comes equipped with dual-channel ABS as part of the safety package. Unlike the smaller-naked Gixxer, the Gixxer 250 gets a negative LCD instrument cluster, which shows the essential information. Just like the SF 250, the naked Gixxer also gets LED lighting for both the headlamp and taillamp.
