Exterior Details

The Suzuki DR-Z50 is a mini off-road bike for children. Dimensionally, the mini off-road bike is 1,320mm long, 580mm wide, and 790mm in height. The bike has a ground clearance of 135mm and a kerb weight of 54kg. The fuel tank has a capacity of 3-litres.

Engine & Transmission

The Suzuki DR-Z50 comes powered by a 49cc single-cylinder air-cooled unit that comes mated to a 3-speed transmission and an automatic clutch. Even though official figures for the Suzuki DR-Z50 mileage haven’t been revealed by Suzuki, we suspect the bike to deliver upwards of 60km/l.

Handling

The Suzuki DR-Z50 rides on telescopic forks suspension at the front and swing arm suspension at the back. The mini off-road bike gets 2.50-10 33J section tyres coupled with drum brakes at both ends.

Features

The Suzuki DR-Z50 new model does not get any fancy electronics or features of sorts. The bike misses out on electricals as well as an instrument cluster, thereby, ensuring it does not certify as a road-legal bike, which means it can only be used to train children on off-road tracks under adult supervision.
