This E20-compliant scooter has a BS-VI air-cooled four-stroke single-cylinder engine of 124cc, with two valve configuration on a single overhead camshaft. It involves an injection-based fuel supply system and CDI ignition system, and gets paired with an automatic continuously variable transmission system to propel the vehicle, with the help of up to 8.58bhp maximum power delivery at 6750 rpm and 10 Nm peak torque at 5500 rpm. The ARAI-claimed Suzuki Burgman Street 125 mileage is 58.5 km/l albeit the owner reported mileage is slightly lower than this. This two-wheeler has been claimed to be capable of achieving 95 km/h top speed.
