Suzuki Avenis 125 Engine, Specifications, and Performance

This two-wheeler is equipped with a 124.3cc four-stroke air-cooled single-cylinder engine having a configuration of two valves on a single overhead camshaft, along with an injection-based fuel delivery system and a CDi ignition system. It gets paired with a continuously variable transmission system through an automatic clutch system. The engine churns out a maximum of 8.58bhp at 6750 rpm and a peak torque of 10Nm at 5500 rpm. The claimed Suzuki Avenis 125 mileage is 49.6 km/l albeit the user-reported mileage differs from this figure.

Talking more about the specifications, the new Avenis includes a 12-inch alloy wheel in the front with a 90mm wide tubeless tyre and a 10-inch alloy wheel in the rear with a 90mm wide tubeless tyre, suspended by a telescopic front suspension and a swing arm in the rear. The braking system of the scooter includes a front disc and rear drum brake with single-piston calipers, accompanied by a combi braking system that links both brakes to ensure the application of brake force on both wheels, upon depressing only one lever.

This two-wheeler has been built on a steel tubular frame chassis and possesses a length of 1895mm with a wheelbase of 1265mm, a width of 710mm, and a height of 1175mm with a saddle height of 780mm. The ground clearance of the vehicle is 160mm and its fuel tank capacity is 5.2 litres.

The exterior design of this Suzuki scooter gets many edgy and sporty elements. The front of the vehicle displays a wide front apron housing a body-mount pentagonal LED headlamp, a hidden-like front fender, turn indicators on the handlebar, and a Black shield-like visor between the indicators. The side profile exhibits a 3-D model branding, ‘Suzuki’ branding at the footboard sides, and a two-step single seat with a split pillion grab bar. In the rear, it shows off a split tail light separated by a black edgy element, motorcycle-inspired turn indicators, and a rear reflector.

Moreover, the Ride Connect edition encompasses a mobile app connectivity feature that displays call/SMS/WhatsApp alerts, speed-exceeding alerts, phone battery level display, and display of ETA updates, in the screen of the digital cluster.
