At first glance, the Revolt RV 400 looks like a muscular naked ICE motorcycle, which means, it isn’t as outlandish as some of the electric offerings in the Indian market. Dimensions-wise, the RV 400 has a ground clearance of 215mm and kerb weight of 108kg, amongst other things.

The Revolt RV 400 boasts a 3kW mid-drive motor that’s placed underneath a 72V lithium-ion battery. Eco-mode allows the rider to cover an ARAI-claimed 156km on a full charge. Therefore, in layman’s terms, the Revolt RV 400 mileage is 156km on a single full charge.

The RV 400, out on the track, feels a little out of place. The steering is light, and it works well in the city. The upside-down forks at the front and an adjustable monoshock at the rear are a bit on the firm side, however, the ride quality is very smooth. The bike rides on a 90/80-17 tyre at the front and a 120/80-17 tyre at the back.

The Revolt RV 400 new model boasts a raft of AI-based features. It has an artificial engine sound and the ability to start the motorcycle remotely, albeit limited to the Premium variant. Standard features include Geo-fencing/ Geolocate, battery status, SOS battery delivery, battery status and riding history. The aforementioned features are accessible through the “My Revolt” application. The bike also gets an all-digital instrument cluster and LED lighting for the headlamp, taillamp, as well as side indicators.

The Revolt RV 400 comes in two variants. The Revolt RV 400 price (as of mid-2020) is ₹3,499 per month for the Standard variant and ₹3,999 per month for the Premium variant, which is to be paid over a period of 37 months.
