The Dragster 800 RR is a limited-edition model from the Italian marque, MV Agusta. Based on the Brutale 800 RR, the Dragster 800 RR also retails through the bikemaker’s India retailer, Kinetic Motoroyale. So, what’s new with the Dragster 800 RR? While the silhouette remains identical, the Dragster boasts spoke wheels, fatter rear rubber, and a shorter tail section in comparison to its standard counterpart. Other than that, the only visual change lies in the variety of shades, wherein the limited edition is available in three snazzy shades, respective to the variants.

Exterior Details

The MV Agusta Dragster 800 RR retains the edgy design, sharp lines, and streetfighter stance of the Brutale 800 RR. On the dimensions front, the Dragster is 2,060mm in length and 825mm in width. It has a ground clearance of 149mm and a fuel tank capacity of 16.5-litres.

Engine & Transmission

As the name suggests, the Dragster 800 RR features a 798cc inline-three-cylinder engine, which is capable of churning out 136bhp and 87Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed manual transmission that works in tandem with a slipper/assist clutch. The MV Agusta Dragster 800 RR mileage, on the other hand, is expected to be around 16km/l.

Handling

As for the cycle parts, the MV Agusta Dragster 800 RR rides on Marzocchi USD forks at the front and a Sachs single shock at the rear. There are massive 320mm twin disc brakes at the front and a 220mm disc brake at the rear. The bike is built around an ALS steel tubular trellis frame. As for the wheels, the front gets a 120/70-ZR 17 M/C (58W) tyre and the rear gets a 200/50-ZR 17 M/C (75W) tyre.

Features

In comparison to the Brutale 800 RR, the equipment list on the MV Agusta Dragster 800 RR new model remains unchanged. The bike comes equipped with ride-by-wire throttle, eight-stage adjustable traction control, Bosch cornering ABS, and engine immobilizer. The fully-digital instrument cluster shows a bevy of information such as a tachometer, speedometer, gear position indicator, fuel gauge, and odometer. The headlamp and taillamp, lastly, are fitted with LEDs.
