The deliveries of Matter Aera EV have once again been delayed in India owing to some updates. The EV comes in two variants: 5000 and 5000+, priced at Rs 1.74 lakh and Rs 1.84 lakh, respectively (both ex-showroom).

Matter has announced a limited-time offer on the Aera electric vehicle. With that offer, the Aera bike carries an earlier price of Rs 1.44 lakh, if pre-booked until June 5, 2023. Post that, the electric vehicle will be available at a starting price of Rs 1.74 lakh. Prices are ex-showroom.

The Aera electric bike uses liquid-cooling for heat management and yield a claimed range of 125 kilometre on a full charge. It can sprint from a standstill to 60km/h in under 6 seconds.

The Matter Aera 5000 range is equipped with an IP67-rated 5kWh battery pack and a 10kW electric motor that is rated at 13bhp and 520Nm. It returns a claimed range of 125 kilometres on a full charge.

The Matter Aera is claimed to be the first-ever electric motorcycle in India that is paired with a 4-speed manual transmission. The price of the Aera 5000 stands at Rs 1.44 lakh, whereas the Aera 5000+ is priced at Rs 1.54 lakh.
