KTM RC 200

The RC200, when it was first launched, was the entry-level sports bike from KTM in India. The RC200 features sporty riding dynamics that helps the performance and dynamics of this bike, but the low-slung riding position cannot be practically used for everyday commuting. Unlike the 200 Duke, the RC200 is a full faired sports motorcycle.

KTM RC 200 Exterior Details

The KTM RC200 is a fully-faired sports motorcycle that shares its underpinnings with the 200 Duke. As for the dimensions, the RC200 is 1,978mm in overall length, 688mm in overall width, and 820mm in overall height. The fuel tank can take a maximum of 9.5-litres. Further, the RC200 has a kerb weight of 160.6kg and a ground clearance of 153mm.

KTM RC 200 Engine & Transmission

Powering the KTM RC200 is a 199cc single-cylinder engine, which churns out 24.6bhp and 19.2Nm of torque. The liquid-cooled motor comes mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. Lastly, the KTM RC200 mileage is around 30km/l.

KTM RC 200 Handling

The KTM RC200 gets a 110/70 R17 section tyre at the front and a 150/60 R17 section tyre at the rear. The sports bike is built around a trellis frame, and it rides on beefy 43mm wp upside-down suspension at the front and a wp monoshock suspension at the back. The braking is in response to a 300mm disc and a 230mm disc at the front and the rear, respectively.

KTM RC 200 Features

The KTM RC200 new model features a fully digital instrument cluster, which displays the speedometer, tachometer, fuel gauge, and odometer, to say a few. In the safety department, single-channel ABS is standard across the range. Electrically, the headlamp comes fitted with halogen bulbs while the taillamp gets LED treatment.
