KTM 450 SX-F Engine and Transmission

This motorbike is powered by a 449.9cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, four-stroke engine. It develops a peak power and torque of 62.75bhp at 9500 rpm and 74 Nm at 9500 rpm, respectively. The engine of the 450 SX-F is mated to a five-speed manual transmission system with a wet multi-plate clutch setup.

KTM 450 SX-F Specifications

This KTM motorcycle uses a central double-cradle type steel frame and an aluminum-reinforced polyamide subframe. It adds to the performance of this machine by offering lightweight handling. It has a 48mm WP XACT USD front suspension with AER technology that helps reduce the overall weight. The rear suspension is WP XACT Mono-shock with linkage offering perfect grip and required damping reserves. The front forks have a 310mm wheel travel while the rear one has 300mm wheel travel.

The bike rides on a 21-inch front wheel with an 80mm wide tyre and a 19-inch rear wheel with a 110mm wide tyre. The wheels are spoked and the tyres are off-road tubed ones. Its braking setup incorporates a 260mm front disc and 220mm rear disc, providing precise stopping power.

It also features graphics on the fuel tank and side panels. The rear end showcases an edged extension, enhancing the racing capability.
