Kawasaki Z650 Exterior Details

The Kawasaki Z650 received its new design update last year, in line with the Sugomi design followed by its flagship naked motorcycles. This year, however, the motorcycle is hard-pressed for any significant major updates besides the brand-new colour scheme. For its updated version, the Kawasaki Z650 features a new LED headlight design and sharper angles and features. With its update last year, the bike also received an all-new TFT screen and other modern touches.

Kawasaki Z650 Engine & Transmission

The Kawasaki Z650's engine remains unchanged. The bike gets a 649cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine which is BS6 emissions compliant. The heart of the middle-weight beast puts down 68PS at 8000rpm and 64Nm of peak torque at 6700rpm. The engine comes mated to a manual six-speed transmission. For safety, the bike gets dual-channel ABS as standard.

Kawasaki Z650 Handling

Handling duties for the Kawasaki Z650 are taken care of by 41mm telescopic forks on the front end. The rear gets a monoshock suspension with preload adjustability. Braking duties are handled by two 300mm petal discs on the front and a 220mm disc on the rear.  

Kawasaki Z650 Features

The Kawasaki Z650 gets a few basic features that continue over from its last update. The bike gets a new LED headlight and a 4.3-inch TFT display console over it. The bike also gets Bluetooth connectivity through Kawasaki's Rideology app, which offers quite a lot of data from the comfort of your phone.

Kawasaki Z650 Price & Variants 

The Kawasaki Z650 gets a standard variant in India and a single colour scheme. The Kawasaki Z650 is priced starting at ₹6.24 lakhs (Ex-Showroom) and comes in a new colour scheme called Candy Lime Green Type 3.
