Exterior Details

The new KLX 140G is a dirt bike for amateurs. As for the dimensions, it’s 2,005mm length, 790mm width and 1,135mm height. The kerb weight is light, at 99kg while the ground clearance is 315mm. The fuel tank has a capacity of 5.8-litres.

Engine & Transmission

The Kawasaki KLX 140G gets a 144cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that comes mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. While Kawasaki hasn’t revealed any official figures regarding the fuel efficiency, we expect the Kawasaki KLX 140G mileage to be somewhere in the ballpark of 50km/l.

Handling

The KLX 140G is based on a perimeter, box-section, high tensile steel frame. The bike rides on telescopic fork suspension at the front and a single shock with piggyback reservoir suspension at the back. The stopping power is courtesy of a 220mm disc at the front and a 190mm disc at the back. The bike comes equipped with a 2.75-21 45M section tyre and 4.10-18 59M section tyre at the front and the rear, respectively.

Features
