This Jawa Forty-Two is powered by a 294.72cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine with four valve per cylinder configuration. It produces a maximum power of 26.94bhp and a peak torque of 26.84 Nm. The engine gets mated to a six-speed manual gearbox to transfer the power to the wheels. This new engine with an injection-based fuel delivery system is BS6 compliant and makes it more fuel-efficient and environment-friendly

The mileage of this two-wheeler has been claimed to be nearly 30 km/l. It might vary in different riding conditions and styles.

The Jawa 42 is a performance-oriented bike that delivers a thrilling riding experience. It delivers a thrilling top speed and quick and agile acceleration. The motorcycle comes with a telescopic front forks and twin-shock absorbers at the rear with seven-step adjustability. The suspension is good enough to provide a comfortable ride on all kinds of terrains.

This Jawa bike rides on 18-inch front alloy wheel sporting a 90mm wide tubeless tyre. The rear wheel is of 17 inches and wears a tyre of 120mm width. The braking setup incorporates both discs to offer a precise stopping power.

This stylish motorcycle features a retro-styled design that includes modern-day elements. It has a circular headlamp design and a teardrop-shaped fuel tank with a brand logo. These elements along with a flat seat give it a classic look. It also features blacked-out elements and full-size fenders that enhance its overall appeal. Moreover, it exhibits circular rear-view mirrors and dark black horizontal dual exhaust pipes mounted on both sides. In the rear, it showcases a small tail light, a rear reflector, and round turn indicators.

It has a digital instrument cluster, displaying all the essential information, including fuel level, speed, and trip meter. The motorcycle also features an anti-lock braking system that ensures a safe and comfortable ride. The different variants come with either a single channel or dual channel ABS.
