Indian Super Chief Limited Exterior Details

The new Indian Super Chief Limited gets touring-oriented features that set it apart from its Dark Horse siblings. Although the bike is based on the same chassis as the Chief Dark Horse, its handlebar ergonomics as well as other features such as a touring, quick-release visor and footboards make the bike's intent clear. Unlike its siblings, the bike gets classic cruiser handlebars and saddlebags. The blacked-out bits on the other bikes get a complete chrome finish here.

Indian Super Chief Limited Engine & Transmission

The Indian Super Chief Limited gets the same engine powering it as the other two new launches in the line-up. The Super Chief gets the same BS6 emissions complaint 1890cc, air-cooled, twin-cylinder Thunderstroke engine that can put down 162Nm of torque at 3200rpm. The engine comes mated to a six-speed manual transmission. Safety features include dual-channel ABS.

Indian Super Chief Limited Handling

Handling the Indian Super Chief Limited are the same 46mm telescopic forks with Indian's stylised fork covers. The rear end gets preload-adjustable dual shocks. Stopping power is provided by 300mm discs on both ends. Similar to the Bobber Dark Horse, the Super Chief gets retro styling in the form of 16-inch spoked rims on both ends with thick Pirelli Night Dragon tyres.  

Indian Super Chief Limited Features

The Indian Super Chief Limited gets the same features as its siblings, along with a few touring-specific ones. The motorcycle gets LED lighting all around. The headlight is supported by Indian's quick release visor that allows riders to use it for touring or change the look to a naked cruiser on the go. The bike's features include cruise control, three rider modes and a USB charging port as standard. The Super Chief benefits from Indian's Ride Command System as well, which is accessible through the bike's 4-inch touchscreen display. The display works as a Speedometer, Tachometer, Odometer and shows additional details such as ambient temperature and more. Bluetooth functionality is available as well. The bike gets a few touring features specific to it, however, that include leather saddlebags, floorboards, a dual step-up seat and a classic cruiser handlebar.

The Indian Super Chief Limited gets a standard variant in India with three colour schemes. The Indian Super Chief Limited is priced beginning at ₹22.8 lakhs (Ex-Showroom). The bike gets brighter colour schemes which are Blue Slate Metallic, Black Metallic and Maroon Metallic.
